Video Wall Planning Guide for Qatar Projects
Before ordering displays, define the wall geometry, sources and operating layouts. These decisions determine the hardware architecture.
Measure the usable wall and viewing distance
Physical wall dimensions, viewer position and surrounding furniture determine a practical screen matrix.
List every source and required layout
A system showing one presentation source is simpler than a control room showing multiple NVR, PC and dashboard sources at once.
Match controller capability to the workflow
Number of inputs, outputs, resolutions and simultaneous windows determine the processor or controller requirement.
Design mounting and front/rear service access
Alignment and maintenance access should be planned before installation. A visually clean wall that cannot be serviced is not a good design.
Test at the real operating resolution
Use the actual sources and layouts during commissioning so scaling, text clarity, switching and multi-window behavior can be verified.
